Plan F not available after 2020

Plan F not available after 2020. I’m sure you’ve heard about Medigap Plan F becoming unavailable in 2020, right? No, you haven’t? Well, sit down and let me tell you a little story.

Plan F is a Medigap Plan, private insurance that helps you pay for out-of-pocket expenses, along with the other Plans, A, B, C, D, G, K, L, M, and N. A law has recently been passed that Plan F will no longer be available in the year 2020. This may create problems for some current beneficiaries because the premium rates could increase. The reason for the increasing rates is the decreasing risk pool. The risk pool will grow smaller, older, and sicker, causing those left on the plan to eventually have no choice but to pay larger premiums.

For those of you using Plan F, MyMedicareQuotes suggests you may want to consider switching to a different Medigap Plan while you’re still young and healthy enough to do so. We recommend Plan G or Plan N. Let’s compare the two Plans:

I hope you liked that story. MyMedicareQuotes can help you choose the Medigap Plan that is right for you. To learn more about Medigap Plans, contact MyMedicareQuotes at (267) 406-0344.
